We are proud of each one of our members of staff and their achievements, both professionally and personally.
I founded AMC in 2005, when I was just 21 years old, selling IT hardware and consumables from my bedroom. Since then, AMC has come a long way!
We are now an established and reputable IT reseller with a strong customer base. We hold high level tiering across many vendors and have a vast portfolio consisting of hardware, services and solutions.
Outside of AMC, my passions are my family and sport! I love spending time with my wife and son and regularly enjoy playing football, cricket, golf and poker!
Having had the pleasure of working with our MD, Andy in my first job, I jumped at the chance to join him once he’d started AMC, as the first Telesales Account Manager.
Over the past 12 years, I’ve been lucky enough to see the company evolve and grow. I am proud of our hard-working staff, especially the sales team who I oversee. Everyone’s hard work and commitment has been the main driver behind our 15 years of growth.
During my first year as Sales Director, came my proudest career achievement –an annual revenue growth of £5million. We spent a lot of time that year streamlining internal processes and developing our sales team, it was very rewarding to see it pay off.
In my spare time, I enjoy keeping fit and playing sports, such as football and golf. I am also a very keen carp angler and have a young family who keep me busy.
I started at AMC in 2007, joining our MD, Andy as his first employee. This makes me the longest serving member of staff! It has been fantastic to see the company grow into what it is today.
My first position was in accounts, but it wasn’t long before I started a career in sales. Being exposed to different areas of the company has given me valuable experience and knowledge helping me progress to Technical Director.
I started my current role in 2019. In this position I am responsible for the enterprise sales within AMC and managing and developing our in-house technical team.
In my spare time I like to keep fit and enjoy playing golf and squash. I also have two young sons to keep me busy.
Training and Development Director
My IT career began straight from school in 1997, jumping straight into sales. I am proud to say I still deal with most of my original customers today!
I joined AMC in 2010 and in addition to managing my accounts, I am responsible for overseeing our apprentice program; training and developing our team as they take their first steps into the IT industry.
Father of three, in my spare time I coach two junior football teams.
I started at AMC in 2012 as a Junior Sales Executive, spending 2 years in this role, finding my feet and learning about the IT industry. From here I moved into the purchasing team, which I felt suited my skills and interests much more.
I was lucky to have colleagues around me with valuable experience and knowledge, and with their help, I worked my way up to Purchasing Manager in 2017. Recently my role has been expanded and I am now solely responsible for enhancing our purchasing strategy and safeguarding our spend.
In my spare time I enjoy socialising with family and friends. I also like watching and playing football, and the occasional game of pool, with a beer in the pub!
At the age of thirteen I began my career in sales – selling through Avon catalogues! I joined AMC in 2018 as an apprentice. Under the guidance and training of Dan Foster, I progressed to Sales Executive.
I would consider my biggest career achievement to date is successfully opening 22 new accounts in a quarter.
In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit, spending time with family and I have recently become an uncle.
I began my career at AMC in 2016 as a buyer, progressing to my current role, Bid Manager, which I started earlier this year.
I am proud of my achievements at AMC, particularly the projects I led that resulted in significant cost savings for the company. I am looking forward to furthering my career and knowledge within AMC.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing cricket and golf in the summer months, followed by some beers at the weekend!
I have been in the IT industry since 2003 and joined AMC as a Sales Executive in 2013.
My customer base is varied from commercial and education, to one of the largest procurement consortiums in the UK.
In my spare time I coach my son’s football team.
Sales Team Manager
I joined AMC in 2013, as Purchasing Manager. After a year in that role, I moved into sales.
It was an honour to be awarded ‘Employee of the Year’ in both 2016 and 2017. I’m also proud to hold the record for ‘Salesperson with highest growth in their first year’.
In 2019, I set myself a goal to become Sales Team Manager which I am delighted to say I achieved. Looking into the future, my goal is to increase my infrastructure and networking expertise in order to further assist my customers with their Enterprise requests.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing and watching football, plus the odd round of golf!
I joined AMC in 2016, having begun my IT career in 2015. I completed the apprentice program and have progressed to become a Sales Executive. I am proud of how far I’ve come and my sales achievement.
In my spare time I enjoy watching football, going out with friends and watching live bands.
Enterprise Team Manager
I have worked in IT Sales since 2003 and have been with AMC since 2017.
As Enterprise Team Manager, I handle all enterprise enquiries for the company. I am also responsible for researching new technologies and adding them to the AMC portfolio.
Out of work, I like to spend time with my family, I go to gigs regularly and am a keen music collector. I am also known to be a bit of a beer connoisseur!
I started with AMC in our purchasing department in 2014. My experience prior to this role was in customer services, so with the knowledge and experience I gained, I progressed to Customer Services Manager in 2015.
I have recently started my new role as Services Manager in which I am responsible for pre-staging and warehousing services, plus renewals and finance agreements.
At AMC I enjoy the great office environment and working with my colleagues.
In my spare time I enjoy gaming and socialising with friends and family.
Supplier Relations and Marketing Associate
I joined AMC in December 2018 as Customer Service/ Accounts Administrator. I gained first-hand experience in customer support while travelling and studying for my bachelor and master’s degree. I have also had previous roles in IT support, operations and marketing.
My current role is Supplier Relations and Marketing Associate which I started at the beginning of 2020. I am responsible for assisting with customer and supplier accounting queries and returns, as well as designing and implementing graphic website and social media content.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling to new and exciting places and spending time with family and friends.
I joined AMC from sixth form back in 2016. I had always had a passion for sales and had been known to sell leather goods to other students on the school yard!
I completed AMC’s in-house training and development to become a Sales Executive.
In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit, by going to the gym and boxing. I am a massive sport fan and also play football and golf. I am a massive football fan and hold a Birmingham City FC season ticket, plus I try to go to England games, home and abroad. I enjoy spending a lot of time with family, friends and especially my godson.
Sales Team Manager
I began my career in the IT industry 20 years ago in sales support, moving into account management 5 years later. I joined AMC in 2013 as an account manager, progressing to my current role, Sales Team Manager.
I am most experienced in managing high-end corporate organisations, although my client base is varied, and I am confident with helping any sized business. I pride myself on my adaptability, service levels and efficiency.
Outside of work, I am a devoted Dad to my 3 children. I am also a huge football fan and very much still enjoy playing it.
Vendor and Marketing Manager
I joined AMC in 2020 as Vendor and Marketing Manager, having previously worked at another IT reseller for 5 years.
In my role, I am responsible for the management of vendor relationships, development and marketing. I also manage all of AMC’s social channels, communications, website and charity events.
Out of work, I am studying a degree part time, ‘Business Management and Marketing’ with the Open University. It has broadened my knowledge and helped me further and develop my career. I am hoping to graduate with first-class honours!
When I’m not working, I enjoy time with my daughter! We love horse riding, walking our dog and spending time with our family and friends.
I started as Customer Services manager at AMC almost 6 years ago. During this role, I was responsible for assisting customers and suppliers with any post sales issues, such as deliveries or returns. As a result, I created and implemented a returns package which was purchased and used for 3 years until the introduction of our automated one.
From that role I moved onto Accounts Payable Manager developing strong supplier relationships. I am now undertaking my current role as Operations Manager. I am responsible for the start to finish process for customers and suppliers, general accounting management and queries.
A proud moment of my AMC career is when I helped manage the implementation of a new CRM system. It was a difficult and thorough task, but we successfully did it and it is the system we use internally today!
I enjoy time with my family and friends, holidays and the odd glass of prosecco.
Customer Service Executive
I joined AMC in 2018 as Junior Purchaser, before moving to my current role as Customer Service Executive in 2019.
I enjoy football and socialising outside of work.
I have worked at AMC for 11 years in various roles, across several departments, including Accounts, Finance and Customer Services.
When I joined AMC, the company was a lot smaller and therefore I was exposed to more aspects of the business, which has given me a very broad knowledge and helped me build relationships with my colleagues and develop the Operations side of AMC.
My experience within the AMC has led to my role as Company Secretary.
I’ve always been keen to streamline our systems, implement changes and ensure we are working in the most efficient way for our teams but ultimately to give our customers the best service possible.
Out of work, my favourite thing to do is spend time as a family with my husband and our 7-year-old son. I also love socialising and meeting up with friends.
Sales Team Manager
I started at AMC back in 2009, being taken on as their first ever purchasing rep. From there I moved into sales on their apprentice program and progressed from Junior Sales Executive all the way to Sales Team Manager.
A personal highlight of my time at AMC is holding the record for ‘Highest recorded sales in a single month’.
I am proud to be one of the longest serving members of staff at AMC. I look forward to being here for many more years and continuing to see the company grow.
In my personal time I enjoy attending live sports events such as UFC and football, socialising with friends and playing cricket locally.
Sales Team Manager
I joined AMC in 2011 on their Sales Apprentice program, and since then have progressed to become Sales Team Manager.
It has been so rewarding to see how far the company has grown in the last 9 years and see my colleagues have developed and improve each day.
As an individual, my biggest AMC achievement to date was been awarded Salesperson of the Year in 2018 and my goal moving forward is to continue to progress and help AMC become one of the best IT solution providers in the UK.
In my spare time, I play a lot of sports, everything from rugby to a friendly game of squash with friend. I also enjoy fixing and building my project car.
I started at AMC as Office Manager in June 2016, having previously worked in Manufacturing for 10 years, becoming Project Manager early 2020.
Two personal highlights of my time at AMC are implementing an entire CRM system across the whole company and project managing our new office build.
Outside of work, I enjoy time with my girlfriend and daughter. I also hold a season ticket at Leicester City FC.
IT Services Manager
I have been working in IT for over 20 years in various support roles, such as service desk, technical architect and now IT Service Manager at AMC.
I am responsible for assisting our account managers with pre-sales activity and support, as well as the management of AMC’s internal infrastructure.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my two children and wife, as well as being a car and DIY enthusiast.
